I was asleep when I woke up to the sound of my closed window rattling and slamming against its frame. The chandelier was swaying noticeably. Some drawers had opened by themselves, and I heard clicking and cracking sounds from the ceiling, as if small pieces of dust or plaster were falling. I was lying in bed, and the entire bed was shaking noticeably and quite roughly—similar to driving on a very bumpy road, with constant vibrations that were impossible to ignore. The shaking lasted for about 10–20 seconds. It felt much longer in the moment, but it was relatively brief.0
